He authored a series of successful articles and pamphlets, including 'The joy of living,' challenging the contemporary societal values and putting forward different aspects of anarchist philosophy.
His writings and lifestyle extensively influenced the anarchist movement, and he was associated with fellow anarchists such as Emile Armand and André Lorulot.
